07, Jan, 2021 "LATE A. VELAYUDHAN NAMBIAR MEMORIAL DEBATE COMPETITION " organized by VISWAS

The Nehru Group of Institutions is proud that our students from Nehru Academy of Law, Palakkad, participated and bagged the overall best college trophy in the “Late A. Velayudhan Nambiar Memorial Debate Competition” organised by VISWAS (Victims Information, Sensitisation, Welfare & Assistance Society). Soniya Albert of 3-year LLB course and Adarsh S Menon of 5-year BBA LLB course won first prize in the English debate competition. VISWAS, headed by the District Collector as its President, works for the welfare and support of victims of various issues and organised the debate on 4th January at the Collectorate conference hall, Civil Station, Palakkad, as part of its 8th anniversary celebration. District Panchayat President Beenamol, District Collector Mr Balamurali IAS, Retd District Judge T Indira, and the office bearers of VISWAS participated in the valedictory function.
