Proudly introduced Schools of PK Das Deemed to be University, Tamil Nadu, in Kerala through a grand function held at the PK Das Open Auditorium on 03rd July at 2.30 PM.
The programme, themed “LIVING THE LEGACY”, highlighted the vision of MOULDING TRUE CITIZENS GLOBALLY and marked a significant milestone in the expansion of higher education opportunities in Kerala. The event commenced with Vande Mataram followed by a one-minute silent prayer in fond memory of the beloved founder chairman, Late Shri P. K. Das.
Dr. N. Gunasekaran, Principal of JCET, delivered the welcome address and welcomed the distinguished guests and participants.
Adv. Dr. P. Krishnadas, Honorary Trade Commissioner of Mauritius–India ,Chancellor of PK Das Deemed to be University & Chairman and Managing Trustee of NGI, presided over the function. In his presidential address, he spoke about the institution’s commitment towards academic excellence, innovation, and value-based education.
Dr. P. Krishnakumar, Pro-Chancellor of PK Das Deemed to be University and CEO & Secretary of NGI, delivered the special address. He emphasized the importance of creating globally competent students through quality education and industry-oriented learning.
Dr. R. C. Krishnakumar, Director (Operations), PK Das Institute of Medical Sciences, graced the occasion with his esteemed presence and conveyed his best wishes for the successful introduction of the Schools of PK Das Deemed to be University in Kerala.
Prof. (Dr.) H. N. Nagaraja, Executive Director – Academics and Administration, NGI, briefed the gathering about the newly introduced schools and their academic vision, courses, and future plans in Kerala.
The ceremonial lighting of the lamp by dignitaries added grandeur to the occasion. Faculty members, students, academicians, and invited guests attended the function in large numbers.
Dr. Anoop K. J., Principal of NCERC, proposed the vote of thanks. The programme concluded with the National Anthem, reaffirming the institution’s commitment to nurturing future-ready leaders for a global society.
