An International Lawyers' Conference has been organized by Bar Council of India on 23 & 24 Sep, 2023. Dr. C Thilakanandan, Principal Nehru Academy of Law, Mr. Sumesh , Asst. Prof and 22 students of Nehru Academy of Law participated the session. Honorable Prime Minister of India, Shri. Narendra Modi inaugurated International Lawyers' Conference 2023. Dr. Justice D.Y. Chandrachud, Hon’ble Chief Justice of India, Shri Arjun Ram Meghwal, Hon’ble Union Minister, (I/C) for Law & Justice, Government of India,Mr. Alex Chalk KC MP, Lord Chancellor and Secretary of State for Justice, U.K. ,Shri R. Venkataramani Senior Advocate & Ld. Attorney General for India, Mr. Tushar Mehta, Senior Advocate & Ld. Solicitor General of India Students of Nehru Academy of Law participated in four technical sessions : a) The Changing Landscape of Criminal Law b) Equal Opportunity in Building a Sustainable Legal Profession: Way Forward c ) Evolving Role of Legal Professionals/Institutions d)Future of Education: The Next Generation Lawyer. Valedictory Ceremony was inaugurated by Shri. Amit Shah, Honorable Union Home. Minister. Shri. Piyush Goyal, Minister of Commerce & Industry, Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution and Textiles , Shri. Bhupender Yadav, Hon’ble Union Minister, Labour & Employment and Environment, Forest & Climate Change Minister, Government of India ,HMJ Sanjay Kishan Kaul, Judge, Supreme Court of Indi,HMJ Sanjiv Khanna, Judge, Supreme Court of Indi,HMJ P. S. Narasimha, Judge, Supreme Court of India,Shri. Tushar Mehta, Senior Advocate & Ld.
